Information Collection And Use
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
Classroom Attendance Tracker is a Google Worskspace add-on thats provides Users with the ability to more effectively work with their documents and to automate tasks related to their work
Classroom Attendance Tracker is examined to insure it meets Google’s guidelines, including guidelines for safeguarding user data, before they are publicly available. For more information, see https://developers.google.com/gsuite/add-ons/concepts/addon-review
In order for the add-on to function, they require access to data in your Google Drive, Gmail, or other services in your G Suite domain (“Personal Data”)
This add-on only interacts with the Personal Data that you consent and approve
All operations performed on Personal Data are carried out within and under the authority of your Google account
This add-on does not transmit Personal Data to Classroom Attendance Tracker
Any analysis or calculations performed on Personal Data by our add-ons cannot be accessed by Classroom Attendance Tracker
All intellectual property rights of your Personal Data are retained by you
As all activities happen within your account, and there is no data transmitted to Calssroom Attendance Tracker beyond a unique id Uninstalling the add-on will remove any access to google user data

This add-on uses the collected data for various purposes:
To provide and maintain the Service
To notify you about changes to our Service
To allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so

Usage Data
User Analytics
Classroom Attendance Tracker uses Google Analytics to capture anonymized usage information (“User Analytics”); Google Analytics do not share any personally identifiable information with Classroom Attendance Tracker
Classroom Attendance Trackers does not collect, maintain or use personally identifiable information outside the Users’ Google account
This type of information is considered confidential and is only used for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving features of the Service
Add-on Authorization Scopes
This add-on will ask for authorization for several scopes upon first running. Below is a description of each scope being asked for and the purpose for requesting. As the add-on develops further future versions may require additional scopes to be later determined
See, edit, create, and delete all of your Google Drive files
This is being asked for because use of this tool will create a folder in your google drive to store all daily attendance forms and their response sheets.
A form will first be created in your Google Drive root folder, it will be copied to the folder that is created by the tool, called RL Attendance Forms and Repsonses, then deleted from your root folder.
View and manage your forms in Google Drive
This tool will make a form for each day that you will distribute to students. This tool will change settings on the form to include adding validation to a question, requiring user login, and collecting email addresses within your form. This is all done within Google Forms, no information is transferred out of your Google Drive
See, edit, create, and delete your spreadsheets in Google Drive
This tool will create spreadsheets for each daily attendance form that you use it to create. This tool will also insert formulas into a spreadsheet that you use to make your daily attendance forms and track your student attendance.
Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google Applications
This will allow the sidebar and the dialog boxes that will allow you to create and manage the tracker, inform you of next steps, or inform you of user errors.
View your Google Classroom Classes
Allow the tool to list your Google Classroom Classes so you can select the class that you would like the daily attendance forms for scheduling announcements.
View and manage announcements in Google Classroom
This tool will schedule announcements at 8:00am in your time zone to on the date that you would like to take attendance. This tool will only schedule new announcements in the class that you select, you will be able to view these as saved announcements to edit or delete them as you see fit.
Tracking & Cookies Data
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Service.

Google Analytics

This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.
You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.
